R-MC has a host of impressive cultural arts events slated for 2008-09. Kicking off the Performing Arts Series is a performance by Avner the Eccentric, a brilliant comic entertainer.  In October, the Capitol Steps will perform, followed by the world-famous Harlem Choir in February 2009 and bluegrass band, Southern Rail, in April 2009.
